Meet Amy Marks

Amy migrated from a small farm in New Zealand in 2014 and has since made Newcastle her home.

In 2017, Amy graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Biotechnology (Honors with Distinction), however after a stint in human resources in the private sector, Amy was drawn to the legal field. She began working at O’Hearn Lawyers in 2022 as a legal secretary. In 2024, Amy graduated with a Juris Doctor of Law and a Diploma in Legal Practice and was admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in February 2025.

Amy brings a wide range of experiences to her practice, and has a keen interest in Commercial, Litigation, Employment and Property Law.

In her spare time, Amy is an avid skier, who loves keeping active, reading and spending time with her dog, Maggie, and her friends and family.
